We have visited here regularly over the last ten years and never had a bad meal. They cook fish perfectly. The choice on the set meals is always good. Service is swift and wines are very reasonable. Even on a hot sunny day the terrace is shaded and cool. In the winter the restaurant interior is cosy and warm. We... More

The fact that the terrace of this restaurant does not give one a view over the river Orb was more than made up for by the fact that the food was excellent, to a point that made me forget to photograph the main dishes! Between us we chose as the entrée the foie gras and snails from the 29.90€ menu... More

You need to book to get a table outside which is essential and pleasant in the summer. The choice is a 22 or 28 euro menu the 22 one is great value for 3 courses. The charcuterie and melon and ham for starter were good with a half litre of local wine. The entrecôte and frites was good although medium... More

I reserved a table for four, asking for a nice table since it was a birthday celebration. We did not get seated on the terrace facing the river, but on the deck facing the street. Not exactly what I had hoped for. The food was generally OK. The steak was good, but the fries were very greasy, unusual for France.... More

We've been twice in three days. The terrace is lovely, service is good and the food is fresh, hot and delicious. You need to generally reserve a table.

Of the four adults for dinner, two had excellent and flavoursome steaks, one had fish and I had moules frites. Now, I know it was somewhat out of season but these moules were tough, and tiny. The sauce (creme) was also far too salty. It was explained that the mussels were from Spain - but without qualification that I could... More

Competently cooked and prepared-won't set the world alight and does what it offers well without any failings that I could discover. Reasonable value.

Have been here a few times. A great little local restaurant with good food at a good price. Lovely outdoor terrace which adds to its charm. Moules are great as is the salmon, entrecôte steak and the baked Camembert starter. Local flasks of wine good value. Definitely worth a visit

This is a reliable and good restaurant in our small village, with good service and good food. It has a nice outside terrace near the River Orb for summer meals.
