Service was excellent, the setting with a beautiful view over the valley and food was superb. One hour from Geneva and area is worth going to visit.

Creative and delicious dishes served one after the other by the impeccable staff while overlooking a beautiful valley in the heart of the Savoie winelands. What a wonderful experience!

We went in les morainieres for a saturday lunch not knowing really what to expect apart the 2 Michelin stars the restaurant is awarded. It was a great surprise and a wonderful epicurean moment. the place first is really great overlooking a large area planted with vines. the vila is just amazing to the rhone river. it is a old... I was there with my hotel school friends in May. Overall, the menu was tasty and appealing but common, so many loopholes. Starting with the maitre D asking us at the beginning of the meal if there was something we didn't like: we ask preferably no chocolate but please no white chocolate; guess what we got several times. Then the... More

This restaurant was found by my best friend while searching Google Earth, all by happenstance. While walking up to the restaurant, it seems very small, but looks are very deceiving. Once inside and going down a flight of stairs, it completely opens up and is very beautiful. If you can, reserve a table next along the floor to ceiling windows.... More

We did the tasting menu and had a great experience - the tomato starter was amazing - and this from someone who is not keen on tomatoes!!!! Great local wines and an exceptionally attentive staff.

The food was very good and the Michelin rating understandable. Some of the courses we're excellent - intense flavours and culinary creativity - but others we're bland. The big downside came when a waitress dropped food into my wine while she was clearing the table after one course. The was no apology and no replacement. Given the markup on the... More

We specially passed through this area on our Road trip through the Alps because of this restaurant. But as we booked only 2 weeks upfront, there was no table available :-( Arriving at our B&B, Le Passé Simple, I told about this to the guest wife and few minutes later we heard there was a last minute table available. We... More

The restaurant (some 75 minutes drive from 'base') is on a single track road and clings to the edge of a steep, vine-covered slope; the views down towards the Rhone are spectacular. We were fortunate on this rather gloomy day (where dining outside on the terrace would not have been possible) to be allocated a large bright table by the... More
