We came to the restaurant from Conrad for a more laid back Thai food dining experience and paid 500B for the round trip after reading good reviews of the place on TA. The restaurant is at the element hotel, which is around 2 km away from Conrad. We were very disappointed after we had dinner there. As a restaurant at... More

Every item on the menu was tasty (well, we nearly tried everything by the end of 9 days). The food was very well priced, as were the cocktails. Sitting at comfy tables on the beach was a very relaxing way to spend the afternoons...and many evenings.

good, thai food, affordable and in a very nice setting. Service is friendly. Beer is nicely cold. Located at the beach, which creates a romantic atmosphere, especially in the evening.

Nice setting, but the food is bad and the service is not good either. Not too far away are Island View and Virgin Coast, also right on the beach and the food and service are terrific at both. So forget about Bamboo Beach.

We had a really lovely relaxed dinner here sitting in the gorgeous bamboo huts, which are definitely a highlight! Food and drinks were lovely and the vibe was just really nice and chilled. Food and drink prices were also very reasonable. Would definitely head back there again!

This Is really a brilliantly located little beach side 'local' Thai restaurant alongside Elements resort. Good value Thai food - satay is especially recommended. We enjoyed a fantastic sunset last night, and with the lighting of the restaurant as the sun went down, was a picture perfect beach scene. Happy hour cocktails added to the experience

The setting to this restaurant was gorgeous! The night we went there was a very strong breeze coming off the ocean so we sat under the main hut and it had clear plastic tarps hanging down to block the breeze. The food was delicious and the drinks just so yummy! We drove from the Conrad hotel we were staying at... More

Faces the beach, in fact some "huts" are situated right on the beach. Serves local Thai food. The dish we liked best was the seafood platter for 2 which has prawns, crab, squid, fish, crayfish. Sumptious!

Open from Noon till late 7 days a week, Bamboo beach bar restaurant has not just become known for its great ,tasty food but also as a place to simply relax and enjoy the best of Samui.Opened in March 2012, made entirely from bamboo the bamboo beach bar consists of 8 traditional Thai salas conveniently located in the shade of coconut trees on the beach. Behind which is placed a large central sala with tables and chairs made from local materials where you can watch the chefs cook you lunch or dinner. The bar has a refreshing no music policy during the day so you can sit and enjoy the sounds of nature whilst sipping on a cool cocktail, smoothie or beer. In the evening chill out under the stars listening to soft rock . A beautiful venue with a real feel for relaxing
