We have tried out the menu since the new owners a few times now. Never dissapointed. The place has had a refreshing facelift again, and part of our group likes to make use of the newly positioned pool table in the conservatory, which is handy, as this keeps everyone entertained. usual pub type menu, staff attentive, and friendly with kids... Not been to the TG for many moons but dropped in when I heard it was under new management. Early days but there was a decent crowd for mid-week and a good atmosphere. The beers were spot-on, clear and cool and served with a smile.

Me and my family decided to go here for a meal after being out for the day. we had a warm welcome by the staff. The food was lovely and up to a good standard. I will be coming back and I would highly recommend this pub.

As a family we decided we should eat out and decided to book a table at the newly refurbished Tafarn Ty Gwyn which had recently re-opened with new owners and to sample the new menu. We were not disappointed with the menu choices, which were all reasonably priced. The service we received was informal, but very attentive throughout. We look... More

Me and three friends went for a quiet drink after a game of golf. Which was cut short. After refusing to pay for something I didn't order. I was practically told to leave in a disgusting manor by the 'management. Horrendous. Wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. Crap customer relations.

I have just deleted the offensive and rude response from the previous owners and would like to add our own comments to this critique. This pub is now under new ownership and thankfully has a new lease of life. Rhian and I are committed to making a real go of this pub and would ask that anyone who looks at... More

It's he personal touch that counts every time. We'd spent the day cycling around Anglesey - some sun, some rain and a bit more sun - all in the name of Dwarf Sports after a long day we needed food and were running late. Tafarn kept the kitchen open and allowed us to order well passed usual time. The service... More

We went here for dinner whilst on holiday. I have to say the fish and chips were the worst that I have ever eaten.

This pub is now under new ownership and thankfully has a new lease of life. Rhian and I are committed to making a real go of this pub and would ask that anyone who looks at the reviews received prior to 22 August 2016 as nothing to do with us. We welcome criticism both positive and negative and rest assured... More
