We've lost track of how many visits we've made to Aldridge Lodge over the years. How can it keep getting better? We are both vegetarians and Billy takes the trouble to present a separate vegetarian menu with generous choice each time. Joanne and her team are fantastically friendly and unobtrusively efficient. Takes us four hours to get there from West... More

We went as a group of 14 family and friends to celebrate a Big birthday. We enjoyed very delicious food from a varied tasting menu which really had something for everyone and all beautifully cooked and presented. Service was excellent. The evening exceeded our high expectations. Thank you Billy, Joanne and staff for a memorable night.

Aldridge Lodge is a family run restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The food is amazing and it is great value for money. In my opinion it should definitely have a Michelin star I reckon it won't be long now. Well worth a visit.

Excellent dining experience. Good food, no rush, great staff. Only issue is that you must book months in advance - This speaks for itself really!

Went as part of the Queens club. We has 7 courses which were all excellent. Unfortunately the soup was tomato and I don't eat that however everyone else polished theirs off so guess it was good. The remaining courses were all fantastic and the cheese was really nice. Love to know the name as for a blue cheese it was... More

The food that we ate was generally very good, while some element were truly superlative (meaning worthy of a Michelin star). The attention to detail was really first class, and the layout of the plates was impressive. The portions were generous as well, something that one does not often find combined with refinement. If I have a criticism, it is that... More

We took our families to this gem of a restaurant to celebrate our wedding. Hosts Billy and joanne surpassed themselves in terms of food quality and service. Our guests were blown away by the experience and we have wonderful memories of a great day out to treasure!
