This beach side restaurant/bar has been through a transformation since last year. The bridge across the smelly river has been resited, but still spans the river There is now a small rooftop viewing terrace. The outside has been covered in corrugated metal that has been...painted vivid lilac, then daubed with scribbles. It resembles a cow barn and not very inviting. Another new addition this year is the party venue, Meu Pai Lugar, the garden area by the Bar. Despite the notice board outside advertising cheap beer, we were not tempted to go in.More

What a fabulous little find. My friend and I stumbled across this restaurant on a beach visit on our first day in Goa. We were fortunate to meet the lovely Karan who bought us beers on the beach and we made arrangements to eat there...later that evening. Later that evening the food, hospitality and staff did not disappoint. I am vegan and that was not a problem at all. The food was delicious, good portions and a good price. We ended up visiting several times and I even got to go into the kitchen to learn how my food was cooked so I could take new skills home. Another very kind gesture was that that we were also taken back to out hotel after dinner which was so kind. My only complaint is that they do not deliver to the UK :-) I would highly recommend Greenland Garden, lovely little find, lovely stsff, fab beach fab sunset and you can take a beer from the restaurant to toast it 😁More

We didn't plan on going here but just a walk on the beach lead us here. We had couple of dishes and felt the food was good and freshly made...but felt it was pricy for the quantity they served... Enjoyed having beer and relaxed vibe...it offered...More

It an average restaurant 250 meters away from the beach. (No sea view) The tables are setup on a lawn. We dint like the ambiance much. The restaurant is next to a some flowing stream so there was bad stench around. Food was average and...staff were good enough.More

We dropped in here for a beer and a bite one lunchtime, we were the only customers but the welcome was great and pretty soon some more customers came in. The sandwich we ordered with the beer was so good we ordered another. We went...back in the evening, and enjoyed a lovely freshly cooked fish supper, the kitchen. Is open view so you can see what goes on and it is very clean. We walked down to the restaurant from our hotel fully prepared to walk back again, to our surprise we were ushered into a car and driven back, it was much appreciated at the end of a long day by the pool! Highly recommended.More

The restaurant was very quiet when we went, we spoke with the staff and they said they had only been open just over a year so they were still trying to make them selves known, the food was really tasty and great value for money,...no complaints about anything, the only reason I give it 4 was because of the atmosphere as it was quiet and some of the other customers were trying to put something up on the tv. Best thing of all was that they even offer you a free lift back to your hotel, this is such a great idea and we very grateful for that gesture. Would definatley recommend a visit just for the great food 😁More

We have been staying at a local hotel and visiting various restaurants each evening. Tonight we visited Greenlands, the service was excellent as was the food. It was all freshly coooked and we enjoyed fried shrimps and onion pakoras for starters followed by a dal...and chicken dish for a main course. Certainly worth a visit. Most people aim straight for the beach but stop short and you can enjoy the delights of Greenlands.More

We had been to this restaurants several times, in previous visits to Goa. It has always been a pleasure. However this time I was amazed by the wonderful changes. There are new modern toilets and washing facilities. The open plan modern kitchen looked amazing. It...is more family friendly, with a kiddies pool, and a lovely bar. Frank the owner/chef was realy friendly and helpful. It is a hidden gem, just off the beach.More

Decided to call in here for lunch on our last day. What a shame. Wish we had discovered this place at the beginning of our holiday. Food was very nice and great value for money. The waiter was really friendly and the place is spotlessly...clean. Such a shame it was so quiet, seems when people arrive to the beach, the staff from the shacks drag them down to the beach bars and this place is overlooked. Give them a try! They also have a little pool, massage, horse riding, water sports and resident ducks!!More
