Recommended specially by a friend, I took special efforts to head towards Mickeys for lunch. The location is fantastic and the decor is tastefully done ---- including the flowers and the boat near the entrance, the drawings of Mickey's on the walls , the outdoor...seatings, the steps to the beach surrounded by bougainvillea etc. The food was tasty too -- especially the Chilly garlic Calamari in white gravy which is their signature dish. We also had Kadai Paneer and Naan which were also fine. The service was very fast and the food arrived in no time. But with all these plus points , what left a bad taste in the mouth was the attitude of the staff. The person who attended us was impersonal and nonchalant to say the least. Neither did he help us in choosing our dishes , nor did he appear helpful in any way. Having dined at several top places , I have realised that location , decor and taste of food are undoubtedly important but another factor which is an absolute must is the behaviour of the staff. Trust me , a smile or two ( yes one can make thay out even with the mask on) and showing a little more warmth wouldn't have harmed the reputation, isn't it. It was not as if the waiter was rude --- it was just that he was unconcerned, and impersonal to the core...... it was like talking to a robot. I dont want a reply from the management...... but just hope that they read this and train their staff who lack certain basic skills required in the hospitality sector.More

If the place is flocked by locals then it is a sign that it is not only good but a place with sustainable reputation. The owner Michael ( Mickey) runs the place with passion and is ably aided by his wife . Good food ,...Nice Ambience , Goan Hospitality all makes this place a winning combination. All time during our annual visits and now after having settled in Colva, Goa, If food is what you have in your mind, along with the most desirable ambience created by their ever...smiling waiter boys and the warmth and affection shown by the owner and family members , it's Mickey;s for you, without any doubt. Mickeys is a six minute walk from our fantastic resort (Beleza by the Beach) and we visited in Jan 2021. A mid week booking for dinner was a wise idea as the place was buzzing and we soon found out why! The place is huge...and has a great location sitting on the waters edge. Great ambience, retro music, superb food (menu guidance ably provided by our waiter) and drinks at reasonable prices... what more could one ask for on a cool Goan night? Highly recommend the unusual way the calamari was cooked and the butter garlic crabs too.More

We are regulars at Goa. Mickey’s was the surprise discovery of this trip. The place was right next to our resort with a view of the beach. It has an open air deck which is the perfect place to eat during the pandemic. The food...was excellent. I think Mickey supervises the place personally.More

My third visit to Mickeys and it's still my favorite restaurant in South Goa. We ordered Bombay Duck Rava Fry, Prawns, babycorn and mushroom salt and pepper and the goan sausage fry. Everything was delicious, especially the veg starter! The ambience is so lively and...the staff is very friendly. Will surely visit again. The caramel custard is delicious 😋More
