Delicious food with hearty portions and impressive selection of vegetarian dishes. Lots of outside tables. Dog friendly but shame you can't reserve a table in the dog-friendly areas.

Were recommended to come here for lunch. We had bar snacks, which were fine, but nothing special. Entrance from the car park is not attractive, with kitchen staff and customers puffing away as you enter. Good selection of drinks. Very pleasant staff. Our friends had...More

The pub was fine and hasn't been given one of those awful modern makeovers but we were irritated by the musak. If you don't mind pop songs while you're in a country pub then the Miner's Arms is a great place for a pint and...More

We popped in last week and once you park your car you go in the back door past all the smokers and ashtrays. We felt sick after getting a whiff, did a 360 and walked

Excellent food. We liked it so much we came back a 2nd time. Lamb rump and ham steak were the best items we ordered. Cheese cake very good. Nice atmosphere, lots of tables outside as well. The proprietris is friendly. Order food at the bar.

Had a beautiful meal in this pub/hotel. Good atmosphere, with a very good menu. Food was really tasty and very good prices so pleased we found this little gem. Spoke to people who were staying there and they also were very happy with their choice.

There were 4 of us for Sunday lunch, we actually only had starters, because we had seen the sweet menu ! The puddings were great. The service was very good by a lovely bright, cheery girl. The building was full of character

It was bank holiday weekend and we were staying in the village so decided, on recommendation, to eat here. It was very busy and we were told of the wait for food, almost an hour, due to the bank holiday, which we fully understood but...More
