I've been in this restaurant because all the local people I met suggested it. This place is managed by fishermen and they have no standard menu, they would cook what they fished in the same day which means the rather close one day if nothing is fished! This can only mean extreme quality and freshness, but this is not all!... More

We spent a Sunday lunch and the different antipasti was very delicious even though the fish of the main course was quite pricy. It was very tasty however.

We spent a few days in Tricase in October and went to Anime Sante for a meal which we really enjoyed. Freshly caught fish made on the grill, pasta with tomatoes, a side of vegetables and a yummy dessert. It feels like you are at a friends home. Highly recommended!

We had to go 2 nights running before we left Tricase because the fresh fish, antipasti, local wine and hosts were so good. A family run restaurant with a clear love of the sea and good down to earth cooking worked for us! The freshness of everything was a treat.

Attracted by the fact that the owner and his family catch the fish everyday, we were looking forward to experience the combination of the daily catch and Italian cuisine. After a standard selection of ok starters, the primo piatto was linguine with a tomato sauce and some pieces of fish. The dish was the standard of the evening, prepared with... More

We were there for dinner. The resturant is small but cosy. They first served us bruschetta with anchovy as aperitif and was unexpectedly nice. The first course was pasta with fish, very tasty. Our main course was grilled fish and they were so fresh, one doesn't need to add any salt and lemon for it. And the price is very... More

Small and informal restaurant with mom and dad in the glass-walled kitchen and their two sons out front. The day's catch is presented at the table for your selection. The vegetables are grown on the family's farm nearby. Fantastic antipasto of numerous seafood (and other) dishes. We chose to have our main course fish prepared on pasta. It was excellent... More
