Called in today had three starters and some sides followed by desert and coffee. Quality of the food was excellent, the home made soup was delicious and left feeling that full I felt like we'd had a three course meal. Really lovely atmosphere my partner...More

Stopping overnight in the area and looking for nice pub grub - a local suggested I could do worse than visit the Bulls Head in Mobberley. What a find! Helpful energetic and enthusiastic staff - an impressive selection of hand drawn real ales - truly...More

Visited this pub twice and enjoyed the food on both occasions. I recommend the steak and ale pie ( leave plenty of room for it) and also the fish pie. The staff were very efficient and friendly

Friendly staff, good beer, great food, what more could you ask? A place in Cheshire that stocks Pedro Ximenez sweet sherry to drink with your cheese and biscuits, that's what!! Five star

Had the more expensive fish sharing board but it was average at best and for £25 I expected better quality. We decide to go elsewhere for our mains.

This pub was the place where we enjoyed our first English fare! I had the fish sandwich with chips and it was wonderful! I also found out that the English are just as fastidious about their coffee as they are about their tea. I ordered...More

Three of us went here for our evening meal from a nearby B&B. The service was excellent, very friendly and highly efficient. A great menu and fabulous choices of beer and wines.

Visited several times and never been disappointed. Can’t book a table so be aware you may have to wait for a table. Staff are friendly and the food is good especially the seafood and trawlerman platters.

The pub can get busy but the tables turn over quickly and the staff are very helpful in getting you seated. The food is really good and outside of 8pm Saturday and 1pm Sunday I'm sure it'll be worth it.

Yes, very dog friendly, certainly in one of the bars, (where you can eat, too). But get there early on a Sunday. It fills up within minutes and they don't take bookings. You won't regret it.
