We visited here after going to Tatton Park for the day on the recommendation of a work colleague and weren't disappointed. Its a great old fashioned pub with local beers on tap and good food. It had a lovely atmosphere with a real fire and locals meeting up at the end of the day. We had steak pie and calves... More

As the weather was amazing for once we decided on The Bulls Head for Sunday lunch. We knew that we would be lucky to get a table outside and did have to wait 10 mins for one. Well worth waiting for as had a very enjoyable day with lovely food. Service is good especially as there are a lot of... More

I've decided to be generous with my score as we've eaten here before and enjoyed it, but our most recent visit was very hit and miss. Two of us loved our meals (beef roast and lamb burger) and two people in our group both had the chicken roast and neither of them could eat it. I tried the chicken and... More

Four of us visited, we had expected it to be popular as they don't take bookings. Fancy cars parked all around nearby streets. We were advised it may be an hours wait but it turned out to be only about 15 minutes. The food was excellent, all really tasty meals and not expensive; no wonder it's popular! There was live... Perhaps some customers service training is needed, no please, no thank you, perhaps if I'd arrive in a Range rover and not on a bit it would be different...

We popped in to the Bulls Head as we were staying across the road, what a lovely old pub, friendly staff, good real ale choice and good wine (according to the wife). We didn't eat there but the food looked fantastic and the tables were full of people eating and enjoying themselves. I had a taster of beer, 3 small... More

I was recently in the area on business and was advised by Ann at the Hinton Guest House to try here for dinner. The food was lovely and as I was eating alone the staff were very attentive and made sure I felt very welcome. Would definitely recommend.

Four of us visited the Bulls Head on a Saturday night while we were staying at the Hinton Guest House. It was packed when we arrived but we got a table about ten minutes after. The food was brilliant. Not just standard pub grub, but actual gourmet food. We had the burger, beef shin (the meat was so succulent) and... More
