Oddly, just before I left the UK for a Saga holiday at nearby Gavinana, I was lamenting that somehow I could never find one of those amazing restaurants that Rick Stein features where they roast an entire sheep or barbecue massive steaks from home killed...cattle. Almost by accident, then, I stumbled on this amazing and unpretentious little place which provides astonishing quality cuts from its own next-door butchery. Being a pair of little old pensioners we were quite intimidated by the massive t-bone proffered to us and begged for something more manageable. At 900gm, it was about as small as was practicable, so we took the plunge. Weirdly, after twenty minutes of meat-eater heaven, it had all somehow disappeared! With a dish of fried potatoes and another of grilled vegetables, a half-litre jug of great local red, and a fine chocolate dessert, the bill was a modest €59. Rick, what are you doing this weekend?More

A friendly restaurant next door to the local butcher. The steak was delicious - melted in the mouth. There are other dishes for the non-steak eater.

Being here in a sunny day with family . We had dinner in this place on the way of access to the San Marcello Pistoiese. Parked the car on the way and we entered in this small fascinating place attracted by the people working here...and by the food served. We had entries with wood plate of salami and ham. As main course fiorentina steak roasted on the BBQ and half litre on local red wine. The meat was served on warmed plates that avoid the cooling of the meat. Perfect stuff. Place and town are out of the normal road but by the case you are passing over worth a visit. Good occasion to eat well done and high quality of meat. I have to confirm my first impression. Good and warm place.More

On a sunday afternoon we had not made a reservation so we had to take the table in the butchers shop. But it was worth it. Very good food, great service for a fair price. A place to recommend.

You know, - at home everything begins to taste like the same. But here at La Bracia, a new taste hits us. Delicius meat! A view to the mountains and very good grilled pork, ham, sussage and steak. Go for it!

This is a butchery that acts also as a restaurant. The tbone and fillet were amazing. RAre yet very tasteful. The desserts were also great, made from black chocolate.

I've eaten in quite a few Restaurants in Naples ,this one is the best . Don't forget to try the Mozzarella di Buffalo ,it is to die for ,and I've had many Mozzarella's in different city's in the CAMPANIA district-- this is the BEST. Se...vi trovati a Napoli e cercate un posticino per mangiare ,LA BRACIA e il vostro Restorante,--Il Mangiare-Il Servizio --e poi La Mozzarella di Buffalo semplicemente ESQUISITA.More

The Good.. *Simply the best steak I have ever had, the meat was literally taken from the counter of the butchers next door and presented to me for my approval. Cooked perfectly. AMAZING. 3 course meal and lovely wine for 2 people for 60 euros....*Waiter was friendly and passionate about the food and spoke good English. *Food was freshly prepared and served within a good time frame between each course. The Not So Good.. *Slightly small in size which meant a tight squeeze to get to the toilet. *Not located in England for me to visit within the next month.More
