I heard horror stories from the previous location of Corin (From friends/relatives no hearsay) so I avoided it. My wife noticed their Kids eat free on Sundays and thought yeah why not may as well. From the moment we got in there I knew it was going to be good. Really nice décor - modern and light. The waitress/Manageress (never... More

Our daughter had her wedding reception at the Corin. The food was amazing and staff couldn't do enough for you. It made a special day outstanding. Many thanks to all the staff and especially the chefs. Charlie was really helpful with the wines. Look forward to seeing you all in the New Year

Having never visited the old Corin on High Street, I'd been looking forward to eating here for a long time. We booked for a recent Saturday night and no issues getting accommodated. We were greeted by our waitress, a very pleasant girl, didn't catch her name but she spoke with a foreign accent. Top marks for her service throughout the... More

My husband and I always went to the old Corin's and loved it but when we went there in September it was very disappointing. We were served a smoked artichoke and it made the whole meal there after taste like a barbecue and when your meal costs £147.00 it really is a shame. The steaks weren't great either. The starters... So disappointed with tonight's experience!!! Food ok 😐. French onion soup done with pickled onions ? Venison off the menu so steak instead! It was cooked well but plates were cold . No pudding menu arrived but both knew we wanted creme brûlée which was cold . Last straw was complementary mulled wine and mince pies were not offered!! Place... More

Thank you to all of the staff at the Corin who hosted our wedding on 21 December! Head Chef Andy and his team presented an exceptional 5 course tasting menu - scallops, smoked duck parfait, pear & elderflower sorbet, venison and deconstructed cheesecake with the most amazing peanut butter ice cream (Andy we really do mean it - you could... Great food; Festive 3 course menu for £30 well worth it. Great quality delicious dishes. The scallops were incredible, the wine too. Can't fault it The staff had made the place look lovely for Christmas with suspended baubles from the ceiling. Would thoroughly recommend and hope to come back next time we visit family locally.

Corin is just opposite the Post Office and close to the Bangor bus and train station. The restaurant has two entrances, one from the inside of the Ava restaurant in the ground floor of the building and the other off Main Street. Two friends and I went to Corin recently for one of our regular “get-togethers”. What a pleasant surprise…... More
