Great location on the road up to the castle and has some bistro tables and some sofas and armchairs. This is the first time I have ordered a coffee and been just served black without being asked if I take it white. The homemade soup came in a large bowl and was tasty and filling but the toastie was white... More

On a drizzly day, the proprietors of this warm wee coffee shop were kind enough to prepare my odd request for a light lunch, plus warm, garlicky hummus for my mom and some lovely hot peppermint tea.

The French toast was fantastic. Order at the counter, have a seat, and then enjoy the crispy toast with caramel drizzled on top.

We (family of four) stopped here for lunch on the Sunday on a bank holiday weekend, but were lucky enough to find it quiet, and get a table with space next to it for a stroller (there's only two tables that really have space, it's quite a compact cafe!). We ordered a couple of sandwiches, a breakfast and panini which... More

We visited this cafe early (9.30am) ordered a latte, decaf cappuccino and a scone. The scone was stale and was returned, the decaf cappuccino had literally no coffee in it and when it too was returned the waiter told us that decaf meant no coffee! We are shocked to think that tourists to this beautiful town are treated this way.... More

Very good coffee shop selling paninis, other snacks, coffee, pastries etc. All day breakfast a winner. Great staff - friendly and helpful. Good free wifi. Wonderful interior decor, and nice ambience to while away a hour or so for lunch.

Sympathetic but modern (it's an old building) décor. Went in there for a light snack and although we didn't have to wait too long for service and for our drinks to arrive, the toasted sandwiches took an age, no cutlery, no napkins. Tea came in a mug with teabag still in, that's ok, but then nowhere to put the teabag... More
