Need a soft drink or a fine sandwich, maybe a newspaper, toiletries, a dog biscuit or shoe polish? Come right in - this little county store is everything you always wanted to see in a small towngeneral store. And the sandwiches are heavenly!
Stopped here after nearby hike to a waterfall and natural water slide that are up the road. Did not know that Vermont country stores were famous for sub sandwiches. And learned that a "bulkie" is a large roll. I had the salami sub with provolone...More
Stopped in for a couple snacks and left with a great dinner! It's like a general store with a bit of everything in there. Owners were so friendly and made us feel so welcomed there.
Great, convenient store. Great sandwiches and pizzas. In the summer ice cream. Lots of local Vermont things. A good place to get a cup of coffee or stop to get gas. Jim and Sandy are wonderful, and their dog! Stop by when your on Route...More
This is a cute country store that sells subs and a few supermarket items. They also have some souvenir t shirts etc. in the back room. Gifts in a side hall. It is worth a stop.
Good place to stop for a snack and/or icecream. Love the fact that you can sit on benches with a view of the lake. Don't expect a bathroom on the facility; have to use the porta poddy outdoors!
I visited this store for morning coffee & small groceries. It has a little of most everyday items you might need on vacation, plus an ice cream counter for takeout. It also has souvenirs if you are interested.
We loved having this store right around the corner from our cabin! Lots of fresh, locally made baked goods, a huge variety of local beers, wine, local craft items, gifts, and useful stuff. We enjoyed visiting with the owners and petting their cute dog.
