Booked Sunday lunch with hubby my 7 year old daughter, her friend and Edward our dog. We reserved the outside seating as were taking the dog and it was warm and covered. The lunch was really good, lots of meat great fresh vegetables, yummy roast potatoes, homemade gravy and friendly staff. Will be booking again - set us up for... More

Visited the Buccaneer for night time drink and found the pub very good. We both like real ale and this pub has its own brewery at the back. We had a good night trying different beers. I would recommend this pub to anybody that likes real ale.

One of the gang was 50 so 16 of us had a meal on Saturday afternoon. Lovely food, huge portions and all served at the same time. Well done Buccaneer

Have visited this restaurant on 3 occasions with family. Large portions. Meals only served until 2100 hrs. Outside bench style seating in the summer can get really busy. Good for families as not to formal for young ones.

We were disappointed by The Buccaneer. Although my husband enjoyed trying the various beers brewed at their micro brewery we found the atmosphere dull, uninteresting and dominated by the ever present television screens. The garlic bread tasted like it came from the supermarket freezer and the very large meals we saw others receiving also looked "pre made" so we didn't... More

Spending a winter break in Pembrokeshire, we have struggled to find a good pub to eat at where we feel comfortable with our dogs. Happened upon the Buccaneer and had an excellent Sunday lunch in the partially covered, heated terrace. We have since returned twice and every meal has been great. Service is fast and efficient and the portion sizes... More

my husband and I found ourselves in a very quiet Tenby on a Sunday afternoon and couldn't decide where to eat. We decided to try the Buccaneer although we were unsure whether we would get in as we hadn't booked. We needn't have worried - the staff were great and the service was prompt. The food was lovely - we... More

Stopped here for some lunch today. Very nice. Big meal portions. I had fish pie, plenty of fish in it and beautiful topping and massive salad to accompany. Meals come with either chips, jacket or salad. Also ordered and reported to be nice by party was, cod and chips, peppered pork. Steak and ale Pie (this was very rich), lasagna.... More

we turned up the night before new years eve, a hungry group of four of us. The owner was stoking the fire, he found us a table and was really welcoming and enjoyed a bit of banter with us. The food was excellent, I had the whole baked sea bream with an enormous salad, it was really good. The service... More

We were a party of 6 and had booked for Sunday Lunch in the Brewery, a separate building belonging to the Buc. that actually is a brewery where they make and sell their own brand of beers. The restaurant is on the ground floor and the brewery below in the basement. The beer was excellent! Food....I had a prawn cocktail... More
