We had a fabulous evening enjoying the six course taster menu with the appropriate wine for each course. All the fish courses were absolutely delicious but the venison was out of this world. Every mouthful was an absolute joy. All of this was followed by...More

Anniversary meal High quality dishes and attentive staff. Decor basic and a small restaurant in a down market town. Checked before we were due to go for dinner if we had any allergies /dislikes. Book accommodation and tables well in advance. Decent value for quality.

Some might say there is a disconnect between the food and the ambience/style of the restaurant. The food is a delicate combination of amazing flavours cooked with the expertise of Thomas; the restaurant very simply appointed. I thoroughly enjoyed the contrast and the whole experience...More

We visited here on the final night of our holiday, after visiting the Seafood and Grill earlier in the week. The taster menus gave a good choice of 4,6 or 8 courses. Our server was knowledgable about the food she was serving and made it...More
