Went in for a quick soup and sandwich lunch but service was very slow, soup was none too hot and ham sandwich was very basic. This was in a transition period between owners so hopefully the new owners will get things sorted out as this lovely old institution is a part of Blairgowrie's history.

Pleasant enough surroundings. Reasonably priced. Coffee was ok. Cake was lovely. Huge selection to choose from. Busy!

We were parked in the street right beside the entrance to this Famous Old Cafe in Blair, so I urged ny wife and grand-daughter in that I might, once again, inspect this phenomenal small bit of architectural curiosity. However, we went further and sat down for a meal as the menu looked inviting and the place was clean and tidy.... More

Popped in here to escape the rain whilst in Blairgowrie with my wife. Very pleasantly surprised by the range of foods on offer and reasonable prices. We opted for the Hot Chocolate Steamer - with cinnamon and cream, a yoghurt and cranberry traybake and gluten free chocolate brownie. We enjoyed it all. Extensive menu with soups, sandwiches/rolls and hot meals... More

Nice old fashioned style cafe, booth seating which is quite cramped but very unique, food was excellent and service good with friendly staff, would certainly come back

This is my favourite stop for a huge lunch of Macaroni and Cheese which can be served with salad or chips and salad. I have to say they also offer a small portion. Quaint interior with a small italian cafe feel..definitely worth it cost wise.

They serve food which is basic but tastes alright. Nothing special but functional none the less. Sit in front as back is a bit dingy.
