Food was actually quite nice, but oh so slow...duck and pancakes to start...waitress was lovely in fact and said mains (2 dishes) with boiled rice and noodles would be 10 mins...we waited 30 mins for these to come out....there were just 6 of us eating in...they seemed much more focused on dealing with the takeaways....the owner gentlemen in this restaurant... This place is constantly busy mid to late evening with a large and loyal local following and visitors alike. The food is as good, if not better, than most places in China Town, London. The menu is varied and the crispy duck pancake rolls are a must as is the chicken satay skewers. The service is fast and efficient, if... More

Been to this restaurant twice in the last year and have to say one of the best Chinese places I have visited. The food is absolutely fantastic and so much of it. I would recommend the set meal for two or three as you get a taste of everything. Very reasonably priced and a good place to go with friends... More

My wife and I had lunch here recently. It was an on-the-spot decision on a Sunday, when we found it difficult to find anywhere decent open elsewhere. Very nicely decorated inside, with colourful lanterns and Chinese paintings. We did not want a heavy meal, so plumped for sizzling Tao-Pan king prawns and the house special fried noodles. Both dishes were... More

Visited for 2 nights running and tried a range of dishes all of which were ok. Thought it was a little expensive but the quality was good. All facilities were clean and tidy.

The photos don't do this place justice, it is so brightly coloured and original, and I loved the purple of the walls, carpet and table cloths! It was a quiet Monday night when we arrived for a late dinner. Had the spare ribs in champagne, which were to die for and I have never seen anywhere else, followed by beef... More

Recently got takeaway from here. The prawn toast was excellent and freshly handmade. The chicken and cashew nuts was reasonable but a little salty, the hong kong chicken was nice. The satay however was thick with peanut butter and inedible. The portions were huge and the price reasonable so would recommend overall but perhaps different dishes.

Good selection of food, but a little sloppy with portions and orders. The orders did get mixed up on a couple of occasions and a different variation of the dish arrived. Then they served another dish without enough wraps to go round. Other than that the food was quite good except the very last dish of noodles that we ordered... More

Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there. Lucky enough to get a table without a reservation, and then kindly left for 15mins with a menu, then ignored so walked out. They were fairly busy but it's not acceptable to wait for 15mins without even being offered drinks.
