Popped in for a quiet drink with friends. Lovely ambiance and photos adorn the wall of the great man. Friendly staff very enjoyable

We walked in without a reservation and were quickly found a table, service good and the steaks are top class. Would be better if the food was served on warm plates with the salad in a side dish.
Two courses plus a drink for £20, with a good selection of pub food. Friendly staff and very quiet, maybe not many people know about it. Expected to pay more, set price always good when eating with friends.
Nice homely food, good service friendly atmosphere, Norman Wisdom photo's etc in bar and restaurant.
