The food was ok but the superb view overlooking the water and the attentive staff still made it a pleasant experience.

It's been a while since we'd eaten here so decided to give it a go for a change. The food as usual was exceptional ( apart from the dry and tasteless chips) but what shocked me was the astronomical price of their cheapest wine.. £19 for a bottle of Argentinian plonk readily available in Asda for around the 4 quid... Had lunch here with my husband and highly rate the crab claws . We then had scampi for main and my only criticism is the scampi while tasty were small and portions huge . I would much prefer larger scampi and less on the plate? Homemade tartare sauce was delicious. Will be back as there were lots to entice on... More

For a pub that offers such great views from Holywood it's a massive shame they only allow people who are eating to sit upstairs. I would understand if it was busy that people ordering food take priority but at 3pm on a Monday when there are only 2 tables being occupied I thought it was a bit harsh to be... More

A nice meal until a woman at next table lit a ecig and blew a cloud of vapour poison across us Disgusting won't be back. There's a smoking area outside. Get it right guys management reserves the right.

Went here today with my husband and son. The food was really good and the service was great. The selection of meals was second to none including vegetarian options. You have to book as this is such a popular eatery.

Visited yesterday for lunch i have been a regular lunch time visitor for years. Yesterday i had the Caesar salad which was covered in sauce and loaded with salt, as where my friends meals which were over salty. This seems to be a trend as at Christmas the meals served were below the usual standard also. It a real pity... More

Visited here for lunch with partner and ordered the special of fish pie covered with creamy mash and soft boiled egg. This was a delight to eat and certainly filling too. Great service only compliments the tasty food. Certainly worth a visit for anyone near

Went for lunch with mum today. Lots of on street parking, lovely location down by the sea. Nice atmosphere inside, fires to keep you warm. Staff very friendly. Fast service, and High quality of food itself, reasonably priced too. I had scampi, mum had fish pie, both we would recommend. Very good size of portions. We will definitely be returning.... More
