Went there last night and the Fish and Chips are as good as ever. They have been trading since the early eighties and I have been going when I'm in the area for the last ten years. This isn't one of those places that cook...More

Been before but well worth the next visit. Take a moment to think about eating in, a look at the menu and I'd recommend the 'trio' three fish I had grilled and the value superb.

In my oppinion one of the best chippie's in paignton, good fresh food, most of the time it is cooked to order, I had the haddock and it was very good, we come here every time we visit.

Loved this chippy from the minute we moved to the bay....BUT...lately the fish has been very dry and chewy? Maybe a one off? Been back a few more times and am very disappointed....still the same....not sure we'll be returning again.

Went in last Monday to get dinner, was absolutely lovely, haddock was cooked to perfection. So moist and delicate it melts in your mouth. Not to mention the extensive menu as it caters for vegans and people with a gluten intolerance. Furthermore, this is the...More

Visited place last Saturday. We've had a beautiful food there.High quality fish and chips. We enjoyed our meals and the team were all great. Maybe I'm not Gordon Ramsay but I'm sure that he couldn't complain about the service :-) .Wasn't dissapointed.

We came for a takeaway on 28th Aug as we were told the fish was nice from someone at the hotel. They were very busy on arrival with a new girl serving but the other lady looked as miserable as sin and kept telling her...More

Way better than the average 'chippy'. Always super-fresh fish, superb service including the chance to sit down and eat with reservation possible. Without doubt the dish of the day is a great bargain; table-serviced haddock chips & peas (mushy or petit pois no less!) plus...More

I imagine either you have terrible taste buds or your very unlucky, I’ve only had these chips a few times and they have always been fried fine. 👌🏻

Depending on what you prefer, you can ask to have your food wrapped in paper or placed in boxes. As long as you let the staff know, they have always been willing from my experiences

you are allowed dogs, if they are quite big and loud they ask that you sit on the takeaway side. Small dogs that are quiet are welcome in the restaurant area especially when it is not overly busy
