Good food, good service, great coffee! Not ideal for anyone wanting to while away the hours in blissful contemplation. Though if you want goodwill and drink which is a cut above the standard fayre but you don't want to pay through the nose (£10 for...More

Stopped for lunch. Had a bacon brie and cranberry sandwich. Sounds simple enough but oh my goodness. This has to be the best sandwich I've ever had....ever. Delicious fresh bread, plenty of scrummy filling and a coleslaw on the side which was absolutely fantastic. What...More

Great little cafe just off the High Street. Well behaved dogs welcomed, good sized portions and friendly staff. Its a favourite of ours. My most recent visit included a chicken and ham salad which had a whole chicken breast and thick cut bacon. I really...More

A bit like carling claims to make probably the best (coffee ) in town We had 2 Americanos but we're disappointed the coffee was OK but certainly not the best. Service was prompt and efficient. Surroundings clean and tidy.

Absolutely lovely here. The prices are good the staff are very friendly. With it being off the main street slightly it is not over crowded as other places and can actually have a conversation. Love this place 🤗

Description
We are a family run, independent coffee shop in the heart of Barnstaple just off the High Street. Our customers love our coffee and we are proud to keep high barista standards. We prepare and make all our food fresh on the day and all meals are made to order to ensure total freshness. We source local produce where possible, including our bacon, sausages and chicken. We use a local bakery and greengrocers. Try one of our scones (made by us on site) or choose one of our many cake options if you don't feel like a large meal. Driftwood is also well known for its delicious smoothies and milkshakes. We also have fresh fruit and vegetable juices. We have free wifi and off street outdoor seating. Dogs are welcome
