We came here 11am for breakfast and got sat at a lovely window table but it was 25 minutes later before we were asked for our order. We ordered two English breakfasts and toast with juice. When the breakfast came about 15 mins later it...More

We had breakfast at the village inn, at £7.95 it was a reasonable price and was well-presented. The only thing which let the breakfast down was the black pudding and the tomato were a bit burnt. I do love the village inn and have been...More

My wife and I ate here whilst in Windermere. Not the cheapest but don't mind paying more when it's this good. Nice restaurant, polite, attentive staff and great food. Can highly recommend.

One of the best breakfasts I've ever eaten. Hot, well presented and served with a smile. We were just gutted we found this on our last morning as after reading the evening menu, would've loved to sample the main meals.
