Chips were dry, asked for salt and vinegar nil put on. Staff rude. Commenting on us being on our phones. Everything over cooked, fish cake was rock solid. Wouldn't recommend this place and I wouldn't ever go back there.

We had heard that this was the better fish & chip shop in Preston, so just had to sample their fayre. We ordered saveloy, curry sauce, chips and faggots. The faggots had just sold out so we opted for home-made fish cakes. Quite a wait as food cooked to order, but staff just so friendly and jolly. When we got... More

Lovely sausage in batter and hot crispy chips. Enjoyed this takeaway very much as did the rest of the family who enjoyed cod n chips and chicken n chips. Will definitely go again when next in weymouth.

Staying at the Haven caravan park just behind this chippy so we decided to give it a go one night. There was a little wait but the food was cooked fresh so didn't mind. We all had fish (cod) & chips but ordered a small portion of chips, being used to our local chippy in Coventry we expected it to... More

We popped to this chip shop for a quick dinner when the one on our holiday park was closed. All our food was cooked fresh to order which meant a bit of a wait, but wasn't too long in the grand scheme of things. We ordered battered sausage, plain sausages, chips, curry sauce and a beef burger. Everything was well... More

Frozen chips, fish small and only one size available, chicken and mushroom pie, only pie heated and crusty pastry, the pie had been "nuked" filling shrinken and dry, inedible. Did want a steak and kidney pie but it was to be heated in a microwave so no crispy pastry. Nothing traditional about the food here, avoid.

Popped in for a fish and chip super from Haven Weymouth Bay, just around the corner. A long wait as it's very popular, but the food was top notch. Beats my local chippies.

I'm sorry to say this food was terrible. I don't know how long the chips were lying about but they were cold and extremely dry never tasted chips like it in my life. Dogs ate the sausage, the chicken was very dry and the fish well... dry and hardly any fish in the soggy batter which was also cold. The... More

Last minute dinner option, but we knew that Stracey's are reliable and their food tastes sooo good, from past experiences, we go every time we go on holiday. One of the things I love about this place is that they cook the chips separately from meat products and as a pescatarian this is a breath of fresh air when so... More
