My wife & I pay a visit to the Crealock whenever we holiday in the area. We know we'll get good food and service, and the warm welcome is appreciated. It is popular so make sure you give them a call in advance.

The bar and restaurant are warm & comfortable and the staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The regular menu items seemed to be rather expensive (£16 to £24 for mains) but the (5?) specials items were all £9.50 which was much more realistic. Our food was good rather than excellent and it all seemed to be home made rather than... More

Had very good meal with excellent service. Commented to chef (he was stood in bar when we finished) that the king prawns in lime salad would have been even better if there had been little dressing on salad. He replied that there should have been dressing on the plate before the salad was added, very unhappy if that was not... More

This pub is of the beaten track but, well worth a visit. The food is lovely. The staff friendly, and the pub has a good atmosphere. We had a roast which was good.

We often eat at Crealock Arms with friends and normally choose from the specials board which has around 6 meals available. the food is always piping hot with the steak and kidney pie and the pork chop with bacon and cheese in a mushroom sauce being my favourites. The chef is always obliging when special requests are asked for and... More

Great meal here, especially the blackboard specials. Only one thing lets the Crealock down is the owner's refusal to mix and match. By this I mean, you can have chips & peas or potatoes and veg. If you want to have chips and veg, which I think is the best format, you have to pay extra.

This place is just a short drive from Bideford and located on the edge of a delightful village overlooking a beautiful North Devon valley. The ambiance here is reminiscent of a 1970's village pub in need of some charm, but don't be put off. If you are looking for fantastic, homemade, delicious food, then pay it a visit. We were... Yet again turned up on October Monday at 12 it was unlocked TV on in bar and appeared ready to start trade but lacked a bar person. Eventually saw a person outside who said not open due to unspecified family event. Why no notice at the entrance or on the door. This is the third and last attempt to eat... More

Been here 3 different times now for evening meals, twice with family and once with just my partner. Not been disappointed, the food is lovely, home style cooking, decent portions and good choice including the specials board. Their Sunday roast is also amazing. Will definitely be coming back.

Another village pub closed at lunchtime without bothering to change their website. Turned up at 1.45pm on a Monday to find the place in darkness. Very, very annoying, won't be back

Description
The Crealock Arms in Littleham is the epitomy of an English country pub in a beautiful North Devon setting, yet just 10 minutes drive from the town of Bideford. The traditional family-run pub enjoys magnificent country views – from its large beer garden you can see three local church towers! Named after a 19th century village squire and landowner, The Crealock was created from a former farmhouse and opened as a pub in 1977 by members of the farm’s Nicholls family, who have lived there for more than 100 years. Today it is run by Clare and Rick Morgan. Clare is the grand-daughter of its founders and the couple’s two young children are the family’s seventh generation to live on the site. The Crealock it is at the heart of the village community, a meeting place for the locals and venue for events, as well as a favourite with diners and an ideal place to take the family.
