For my husbands 60th birthday on Saturday we ordered a takeaway from here. Very disappointing to be frank. Took nearly an hour and a half to arrive and when it did three of the curries ordered were inedible. A chicken madras, chicken jalfrezi and a...garlic chilli chicken. We are used to the heat of hot curries and I love cooked chillis. However, this wasn’t a chilli heat it was a spice heat and all three curries had to be left. They must have dropped the spices in for an order of 50 it was so strong. I rang the shop to talk to the manager who wasn’t helpful at all and offered ten percent of the next order?! Er hello didn’t like the first why on earth would I order again?? Very poor customer relations not satisfactory at all. If you value your taste buds I would give this place a miss or order a very mild dish only. Not great customer service mirchi you need to brush up on customer service skills as well as holding back on the spices!More

We come back every year on our holidays in Bude. The food is always excellent and keeps us coming back. The curry is full of flavour, the meat perfectly cooked and a good variety of vegetarian dishes too. Service is quick and friendly. Particularly love...the saag paneer side!More

I ordered and collected a take away last night. After being told 20 minutes for collection the total wait was almost 40 minutes (that would not be a problem if you are told up front). We ordered a Chicken Dhansak and a chicken garlic dish...with rices. Before we got home the oil was running out the bag. When we opened the dishes they were both covered in oil, pretty much swimming in it to be fair. Dishes tasted average at best but they were so greasy even after trying to pour off some of the excess oil, that it really destroyed the food. Rice and poppadom's were OK but Sorry to say, I will not be back!More

It was a quiet night in Mirchi when we visited. The food was fabulous. We had an array of veggie / vegan options. All really tasty. Good portion sizes. Left very, very full! Good value for money. Also BYO, so took our own bottle of...wine. Excellent.More

A holiday Saturday night takeaway. Two vegan/vegetarian and two non-vegan/vegetarian. Four very satisfied customers. Thank you, good food, reasonably priced.

Great food - we had the vegetarian & vegan options. Tasted great - all the veg & spices expertly cooked. Will go back again soon.
