We decided to give the Langley Tap a try after hearing good things about it and have to say we had a pleasant night. The pub has a country feel to it and the food is in keeping with this as the menu was largely made up of game and fish dishes. The food was freshly prepared, well presented and... More

Called in here on the off chance and although we have eaten here before, we weren't disappointed. Lovely staff and a great lunch. The Langley Tap is welcoming and definitely worth a visit. The food is freshly cooked, it's not expensive. Lovely too to have a really hot latte. Would we go again? We sure would

We were a table of 8 and had a lovely lunch at the pub. They were very accommodating and our friends were delayed by an hour, despite being very busy they held our table. The service was very good and I was very impressed with the food. All 8 meals were great and there was a lovely selection of Game... More

We booked for Xmas Eve, having been before, and were looking forward to the fish, in which the pub specialises. When we got there, we were told there was no fresh fish board and from the bar menu the haddock, scallops and sirloin were not available. We had booked, so this was not an unexpected visit. Why did the pub... More

Hello 947Beth - We were very disappointed to read your review. We all work tirelessly to ensure our guests are happy so I hope you can feel how upset we all are about this. As a previous visitor to our pub you will know we only deal with fresh produce; We will under no circumstances bulk buy and freeze as... More

Booked a table for 13 back in November and we were really impressed with the quality of food and service at the Langley Tap last night. Prior to our booking the pub was very helpful and we were able to make deposit payments over the phone. With 13 people we probably sampled the entire Christmas menu, people particularly enjoyed the... More

First visit but definitely won't be our last. Met friends here as good half way house. Nice friendly welcome, good ambience, excellent service and food very good and well presented and reasonably priced. Small car park but fairly safe to park on road outside.

Really enjoyed my meal here. The staff are very friendly and the food is lovely. I had a steak burger with home cut chips. The burger was huge. The only thing that could have been better was the selection of starters. Lovely pub for a cosy afternoon, we sat right by the fire. Would definitely be back!

Lovely busy, atmosphere, but service was slow, and most of the roasts were off the menu by lunchtime, so had to have fajitas. But they were lovely!

dinner at the Langley tap for the first time. Mainly meats on the menu struggled to really find something we wanted so opted for 6 x fish and chips which was not cooked 6 x but the name of the beer used for the batter. Desert was plentiful and like home made pudding. Pleasant interior with friendly staff
