Looking for somewhere in Lockerbie we came across the king's arms. The staff were very accommodating as they didn't open till 6 and it was only 5.40 however they welcomed us in, brought us drinks and started cooking right away with our order. We both had the fish and it was lovely. We spent a nice hour and half there... More

We have been here about 3 times now and food is always decent and reasonably priced. They do specials quite a lot so there is a bit of variation and also offer oap meals for the smaller appetite. Don't recommend many eateries in the area but can't fault this place.

Went here today for lunch with my sister and a friend. We all had sandwiches with side salad. The food, as ever, was lovely. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The coal fire was lovely too! Would use again and would recommend. Ps Also had a recent visit earlier this month where I had the most devine onion soup.....

Lovely lunch here. Friendly welcoming staff. We ate in the bar, which was really cosy, with a real fire.

Stopped in Lockerbie as a lunch stop, we had intended to go to Townhead Hotel, but they were catering for a funeral, they pointed in direction of the Kings Arms. On arrival, could tell the decor etc was very dated, old fashioned. Could not see anyone to seat us, made way to reception, then server appeared, able to pick a... More

Four of us plus one dog called in at random for dinner and were made welcome. The food was plentiful, of good quality and good value. We will call in again.
