I love the Elderflower. I've said before and I'll say again that the dining experience at the Elderflower is way ahead of anything in town and serious competition to any of the other restaurants with fine dining objectives in the area. We had the New...More

Just 2 of us this year so decided to treat ourselves. The 5 course Christmas themed tasting menu with matched wines was magnificent and was beautifully served and described by the team. A great choice that made for a special day.

We had a warm welcome at The Elderflower on my birthday. The service was great and the food was incredible. It was like being in Master Chef-the finals. It's surely only a matter of time before they are awarded a Michelin star. We love going...More

We chose the five course tasting menu. It was sublime. Andrew’s inventiveness is a wonder. The Christmas pudding soufflé to finish off with was a dream.! Service was excellent, attentive but not overly so. The wines list was excellent.

We really can't understand why Elderflower hasn't been awarded its first Michelin star. The food really stands the test of comparison, with many starred and multi rosetted fine dining establishments we have enjoyed UK, and Europe this past year or two. And we really did...More

My fiance brought me here for a birthday treat and we both had a wonderful experience. The risotto starter was the weakest of the courses, and the only negative of the evening is that they substituted one of the ingredients for scallops without consulting us...More

We have eaten here 3 times so hope that's a recommendation in itself, but the style, presentation, taste and serving of the food here is sublime and first class attentive but not overpowering personal service though the staff have clear understandings of the food and...More

Stayed here on b&b basis with our son and his partner to belatedly celebrate our son’s birthday. We all had a great stay. Warm welcome, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. Look forward to a return visit.

Quintessentially British, with a sprinkling of French. The Elderflower is the new restaurant for food lovers on a cobbled Quay Street in the heart of Lymington, the beautiful Georgian town sited between the New Forest district of Hampshire and the West Solent. Head Chef Patron Andrew Du Bourg (formerly Head Chef at 5* Chewton Glen hotel and Michelin starred Club Gascon, London) will prepare modern British food with a sprinkling of French using locally sourced produce from land and sea.
