This pub serves very good food. I would recommend the belly pork. It's a bit on the pricey side, but the decor is tasteful and clearly suits its clientele.

Staying at the nearby Lytton lawns, this is a 10/15 minute walk and well worth it. Although we hadn’t booked we were found a table while enjoying a pre-dinner drink. The food was exceptional – Seared Scallops with a mango salsa followed by Trout stuffed...More

We eat here on Monday evening . They had a quiz night which we knew about before we went. It was very busy and we waited around an hour for our meals . In the mean time however we were entertained by the clumsy staff...More

Hi Guys. I'm afraid you've got the wrong pub. Firstly, we don't open on Mondays, and secondly we don't do quiz nights. Thirdly, and thankfully, my staff don't often drop things!! Please remove this entry from our reviews. Thank you.

Hi Thank you for your lovely review, but just wondered - we don't allow dogs inside. Perhaps you were in the garden?? Anyway, we look forward to seeing you again.

Description
The Crown Inn Pub and Restaurant - our aim is to accommodate both drinkers and diners alike, within a comfortable contemporary setting (we have tried to mix the old with the new, to create a warm, cosy ambience)We have been here for 6 years, and Phil does all of the cooking, so our main objective is to provide consistently good home-cooked food (which obviously takes time to prepare and cook to your liking) from an extensive menu, using only quality produce. We would like to think that our service is of a similar standard to the food, and that you should feel welcome and 'looked after' at all times.
