My boyfriend and I enjoyed a roast dinner at The General Elliot and it was yummy! I'm celiac and luckily I could enjoy the roast, just without the Yorkshire pudding. I'd recommend the beef it was perfectly cooked.

Highly recommended. Friendly staff and food always good. Not a huge choice if you have picky eaters and not great for children .

I have visited here twice in the last month and on each occasion the welcome was warm, the service excellent and the food superb. The ambience is just right for a dinner for two or a girls catch up.
