First time in #1, found it it relaxing and informal. Coffee was good but the cakes expensive. Recommended

Top staff, great coffee, wonderful atmosphere. Even when it's busy, there's plenty of places to sit. Much better than the Costa opposite the road. I always go here when I'm in Chepstow.
Coffee here is always excellent although on this one occasion lattes were served cool. Asked for them to be warmed and fresh ones served without question and staff very apologetic. The service is always good here and the staff very welcoming. One star deducted as...More

The best pot of decaffeinated tea I’ve had any where. The toasted tea cakes are fresh and hot. The service is fast. By the time the drinks have been prepared, the tea cake is just arriving from the toaster.

Dropped into for a takeaway flat white and flat bread medley this afternoon on my way to the forest for a walk. It was busy but it was very impressed by the tag team system the staff were using to get through a long line...More
The staff at Coffee #1 are unfailingly polite helpful and friendly despite this being a very popular and therefore crowded establishment. Good choice of coffee, drinks and cakes
Good selection of great coffee and snacks, friendly service and a good atmosphere. Their toasted teacakes are huge and they give you enough butter to make them tasty. This place opens early for breakfast. Great atmosphere on Sundays too.
