Lovely outlook over the river with a very pleasant riverside terrace/garden. It was far from garden weather which made the roaring wood-burning stove even more inviting. A fairly basic but nicely atmospheric bar with a very friendly young manageress and good reasonably priced food.

Wonderful location on the banks of the Tay. Beer garden outside or a relaxed informal bar internally. I had lunch which was enjoyable....Cullen Skink and then a Burger! No complaints.

Have always loved the atmosphere and live music of The Taybank and the recent refurbishments have transformed the place, in particular the upstairs bar which provides stunning views over the Tay and a cosy intimate environment to catch up with friends and enjoy the fantastic selection of drinks on offer. The tasteful new look has not detracted from the warm,... More

Came into Dunkeld by chance as we were stuck in easter weekend traffic on A9, and I must say I'm glad we did. One of the most beautiful little places in Scotland. We were drawn to The Taybank as there was live music being played on the terrace. there was a wonderful market in the garden of the hotel (which... More

I love the setting of this place, in the beautiful Perthshire countryside. On a nice day it's great to sit by the river and watch the world go by, but it's also a cosy spot on a cold winter's night. It's undergone a healthy, and heritage sympathetic refurbishment over the past few years, and it's steadily improved over that time.... More

Being a former local to Dunkeld, The Taybank is a pub which I have visited many times over the years. The recent refurbishment of the pub and the opening of the upstairs bar has transformed the place. Looks great, wonderful atmosphere and a good selection of beers and Gins to choose from. Always my favourite pub to visit when I'm... More

Came to the opening of the new bar on Sat night, we just happened to be in Dunkeld over the weekend and crashed the opening party!!. What an amazing job the new owners have made of this place. The cocktail bar upstairs is nothing short of a work of art. And finally new toilets. The place has never been better... More

I went to the opening of upstairs last night. The bar is a work of art, the owners were so great all the staff were brilliant and the food was amazing. The changes that have been made since they took over are unreal.

£9.70 for 1 beer, 2 chip portions and 1 small lime and soda. Chips not even too nice ...... soggy, tomato sauce containers empty at two tables outside, had to go in side and ask for top up while chips went cold. Clearly tourist prices. We're not tourists, we won't be back.

Description
Public house and venue situated on the banks of the river Tay, in Highland Perthshire.

The Taybank changed hands in Summer 2014 and is currently undergoing some much needed, and significant renovation work.
During the renovation, the bar has been open, the kitchen continues to get better and better under the supervision of our fantastic new head chef, and our music sessions play on...
