been here many times before and always been good. This visit we had toasties and coffee and saw them use cheap coop ham and salad and the charge £7.00 for it service very slow but owner was not on duty maybe that makes the difference?
My husband and I stayed in Ballater for a week this past February. We loved coming into town in the mornings to have our coffee and scones and highly recommend stopping by! I'm looking forward to our next visit!

Excellent coffee and quality tea with tasty home made snacks with sunny outside seating. Consistingly good.
We only had lunch time sandwiches here but they were excellent, very fresh and tasty. If you are looking for a light lunch with or without a glass of wine, this is a good bet.

Booked an hour in advance, got a nice table close to the fire, high chair was provided for my daughter. The food was lovely, tasty and unpretentious, good atmosphere, staff seemed a little awkward but friendly and accommodating
