I booked this restaurant using a Gourmet Society ( Discount Card) that gives discounts on main course. The atmosphere was frosty from the start. We only wanted pappudoms ( which cost £5.10 really dear) main course and rice and drinks but clearly they wanted us...to order more. The food was good but they made us feel really uncomfortable because when we asked for a doggy bag we were told this was not available for gourmet society customers but he would make an exception in our case but when we got the container Back home he had thrown away the chapati and put half the portion in the box and gave us the remainder in one small container and thrown the rest away( so we never had it) . We asked for the WiFi password and were told that no one knew it so we could not have it. We were checking out this restaurant and would love to have it as our local because we live in walking distance but would not return.More
Went to this charming restaurant as a three generation family and everyone had a lovely time. Food was lovely and the heat of each dish was made according to how we wanted it- spicier for some and very mild for others ! Even more charming,...was the proprietor who was exceptionally friendly and had many wonderful stories to share of his travels - it’s not just the food but also the people which make restaurants such as these exceptional.More
Rang in advanced to see if the were open and they said they were. We told them we would be 10 minutes and they said come on down. Got there and the first thing that was said to us was" we are closing in 20...minutes so you will have to be quick". Said thanks for the hospitality and left. Just a waste of time. There's dozens of curry houses in the area that we can tryMore
Was visiting locally, we booked ahead and glad we did as they seemed quite busy even on a Wednesday. The staff were very attentive and very friendly. Food was delicious, didn’t take long and they asked if we were ready for our mains which was...a nice touch following our starters, also reasonably priced too.More
I am a regular here and have posted before my thoughts on the food before but in the current times of lock down........
Any end of a long week GCSE exam canned but no real understanding of how they will be awarded and trying to...understand how the teaching community could deliver education and support to their pupil it was so nice to have some semblance of normality. The staff at the Asian Grill still preparing quality takeaway food with a smile. Thank youMore
We had a lovely meal at this restaurant. My girlfriend had chicken Rogan josh which was delicious and I had chicken dhansak also tasty. Starters and sides also really good. Definitely recommend the Asian Grill if you're in the Birmingham area.
