Just been to the Cowshed for the first time, it was excellent, lovely starters, garlic mushrooms and the haddock fishcakes were superb, both mine and my husbands steaks were cooked to perfection and the coffee and gorgeous Rhubarb pannacota we finished with were great. Our...More

We have been coming to this wonderful restaurant for years. Recently, however, there has been an update review of the menu - excellent though it was - now is, with a new slight fresh change to the menu, excellent. Well done!!,

We hadn't visited for a while but were pleased to find that the high standards of service and food have been maintained.

Always have a good meal here. The only let down would be that the chips are frozen chips and not homemade which does put me off visiting as often as I would like.

Poor service, poor food. This place used to be good but has definitely gone down in my estimation. The early bird is pathetic. They shouldn’t offer deals and then offer poor standard of food - will not be returning

Hi, we accommodate children but we don't have a children's menu, we can do smaller portions of some pasta, steak, chicken and salmon dishes on the lunch and dinner menus. We always do whatever we can. Cowshed Team🐮
