This premises has had several incarnations in the last few years, so I wasn't that hopeful for this latest one. I have been there several times now, lunch and dinner and just drinks. As a couple, with girlfriends and friends. It has been consistently good. The service is friendly, personal and efficient but not too matey, and the food is... More

Had the veggie roast which was absolutely delicious so 10/10 on that front. However the pub was perishingly cold and the incredibly loud table behind us was off putting so we didn't stay for another drink. If the pub was more inviting you might not be half empty on a Sunday afternoon.

Visited a few times for different occasions. Food And menu very good. However a very cold pub every time I have been. There doesn't seem to have adequate heating. Staff and service very good and friendly. Certain visit again.

Finally a local pub which is stylish, fantastic value for money and those who run it are approachable and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Beyond happy that this is literally 30 steps from home and all the family are allowed, pup included!

Visited here a few times under it's previous name/owner but this was the first visit in it's current setup. Friendly welcome and prompt service with drinks. The mains took longer than you'd like to come but when they did it was all cooked fresh and tasted great - so better that than a short wait for re-heated food!

This place has reopened very quietly no fuss or advertising but was full this lunchtime and deservedly so. The service was excellent the choice of drinks very good and although it took awhile to come the food was very good I would recommend the buffalo sprouts!

This was my third visit to The Arbour House and I think may just be my last! My husband and I visited with friends for the first time on their anniversary and we were blown away by the Small Plates (english tapas) from the menu. We were indulging in gorgeous duck scotch eggs, ham and cheese croquettes, mini baked camembert,... More

Loved the small platters just the right size to nibble while enjoying a gin or two. The place has been restored beautifully and has a great atmosphere. This deserves to succeed ticks many boxes for me no doubt about that.Food was of an excellent quality
