Three of us went for a meal at 7pm, didn't book. Two of us had fish dishes and one had the duck. The fish dish of spaghetti with monk fish, prawns and scallops in a white sauce all washed down with a cold Chilean Sauvignon Blanc. I had sorbet for a sweet the others had sticky toffee pudding with ice... More

What a wonderful find in Llandudno. It was our last night in Wales and we were trying to find a wonderful restaurant that served lobster. The Seahorse in Llandudno was our answer. What an evening. Our server suggested a wonderful Chenin Blanc from South Africa with the lobster, perfectly prepared with butter and garlic, and Thermidor sauce on the side... More

Restaurant came highly recommended by a travel agent. The starters were very good; smoked haddock chowder and salad of poached salmon and brown shrimp in a sauce. The mains left a world to be desired. The crispy duck was inedible as it was dry and tough - the wait staff had not been told that the duck "had" to come... More

Very good service and choices. Although mainly fish meals they also catered for meat eaters and fussy children.

We were seated downstairs at a spacious table for two. My husband ate haddock chowder followed by hake and crab Thermidor with chips, I ate dressed crab followed by seafood spaghetti which had monkfish, scallops, shrimps and mussels in abundance in a creamy sauce. This food was beautifully cooked and presented and tasted wonderful. We drank their bottled lager and... More

The food was nice enough - however what I felt really let the evening down was the service. We were offered drinks when we first arrived but not at all the rest of the evening, our plates were cleared ages after we finished the food, we had to go up and ask for the bill and it still took a... Amazing food presented so well. We highly recommend this restaurant, it doesn't look very nice from the outside, but the food is great and so fresh. My husband is not a fan of seafood, but their menu offered so much more. A nice touch was meeting the chef at the end of our meal. We will be dinning here again!!

We visited this restaurant with friends who had eaten there before and it also came highly recommended by our hotel. As we were seated the chef came to our table for a chat. He was most helpful as I have various eating problems and I ended up with a main course that was not on the menu, and an adjusted... More

If you want to enjoy a wide choice of fresh fish, carefully cooked without any frills, this is the place to come, although the surroundings are somewhat surreal. There is an astonishingly comprehensive wine list: the desserts are surprisingly commonplace but we enjoyed a delicious selection of Welsh cheeses.
