We visited this restaurant 2 weeks ago, we were doing an Anglessey road trip and decided that this would be our first location for a food stop as we fancied traditional fish and chips. We were very disappointed by our visit. The decor is dated and it doesn't look like it has been changed since the 1970's, although it was... More

Hubby and I went here for lunch on Monday. There were only a few customers in so we didn't have to wait long to be served. He had 2 x chip shop style sausages, chips (cooked from frozen) and fried egg (he didn't like the sachets of brown sauce). I had lasagne, jacket potato (a bit mushy inside), coleslaw and... More

Staff can't be bother everything is to much trouble and as for service with a smile you've got no chance they seem to cook things when they want when asked for couple of portions of chips for the grandkids as a treat was told sorry not cooking them yet this was at 10 in the morning yet a couple of... This definitely isn't the poshest place on earth, but it doesn't pretend to be. Situated right in the centre of the town, it's as close to the main drag as it could possibly be, and it consistently serves up great food quickly and efficiently. We've been coming here for years, and even on busy Bank Holidays the standard scarcely slips.... More

Food was lovely; a little greasy but lovely all the same, it was a real disappointment that the lady who took our order was rude, abrupt and had very poor customer service skills, walked away before we could finish our order. Later on we found out that she was the manager of the establishment! Shocking to say the least! We... More

Very pricey frozen fish and chips. Very crowded. Staff always too busy to pay attention. There are way nicer chippies around.

Not the poshest surroundings but the food especially the fish and chips were past excellent for me and my family. We had never eaten nicer fish and chips anywhere. Do the place up and you have a goldmine.

Myself and family visited for lunch on 1st April. The woman at the till was the most unhelpful, rude person I've witnessed in a customer service role. Any question or request was greeted with a grunt or barely any recognition. From previous comments it's clear the business is for sale, which must be hard for the current staff. Unfortunately being... More

My partner and I visited Llandudno as it was a lovely day and we thought we would stop by and give this place a try - why I do not know. To begin with, the waiter was not very professional by continually shouting "they're frozen chips" when that information was clearly written on the menus and by the look of... More

Description
The cafe is located right near the beach and Llandudno pier. We have an ice cream kiosk outside and offer a take out menu (which can be subject to waiting times during busy periods). Our most popular dish is fish and chips, a seaside classic!
The staff are a close knit bunch with many of us returning year after year! We are a friendly bunch and there is a real family atmosphere amongst the staff. A few of the staff are even actually related!
We have a fantastic health rating of 5 stars and many of our senior staff have a collection of health and safety certificates which can be seen on the wall downstairs.
We have plenty of space with 16 tables inside, 3 outside and even space downstairs!
There are two kitchens, the fish and chips are cooked separately downstairs. They are that popular we need an extra kitchen to cook them in!
The main downfall is that the bathrooms are downstairs but we always offer assistance navigating the stairs or directions to the nearest ground floor bathroom!
