Comfortable, friendly atmosphere, with efficient staff, a good range of real ale, and quality food at a reasonable price

Went here a couple of times when we had a weekend away , the pub is really nice and rustic , we appreciated the fire as it was freezing when we was there ! Nice atmosphere and cozy , although the beer is a bit pricey

Ate here on a Sat night and it was really full. Definitely book if you plan on going on a Fri/Sat night. Even though it was bust, the staff were all very friendly and very efficient so getting served was never a problem. I missed something off my food order, and before I'd even got back to the counter to... More

I ate here alone for 2 nights in a row and I felt totally at ease alone. Staff were very helpful and attentive and I felt safe. Steak and chips to die for and the mushroom pasta also very good, sticky toffee pudding amazing. Great range of gins which were served with various garnishes and the bar staff were really... More

I highly recommend dining in this fine restaurant, but if your thinking of a Friday or Saturday evening, then to avoid disappointment I advise booking. There is plenty on offer from the varied menu and the food is served piping hot and good portions. Also on offer are some quality Cask Ales. Great atmosphere and great service.

Attended a trade show in Llandudno and visited The Cottage Loaf for an evening meal , went back the following two nights as the food was so good. First night , Conway Pie , probably the best pie I have ever had. A large thick slice with a tasty crust and bottom , stuffed with chunks of juicy steak ,... More
