We came here on a Saturday night and it was busy, always a good sign. About £50 for a three course meal and a bottle of wine starts at about £30. The menu had lots of options (although limited on the vegetarian options, only 1...More

Top quality food, service and ambience. gents to wear jackets will irk some but if they want a classy vibe, why not? Expensive I suppose but to us, worth it for sure.

Initially I was excited to come to this restaurant as our family celebrated an anniversary. I had a look online at the sample menu and quite a few dishes grabbed my attention. Sadly, the menu on the day was a different story. The menu was...More

So I eat here whenever I am in Eastbourne and I don't always write about it. But I have to say that on this occasion we had one of their best meals ever. The pork belly starter tasted excellent. Very unexpected. We then had their...More

Beautiful surroundings for a special dinner with my wife. The Mirabelle is a beautiful dining room with echoes of last century. Well spaced tables and attentive service from a professional staff. We chose the set 3 course dinner at 47stg. each. The food was excellent...More

Superb from start to finish. We had advised the hotel in advance of dietary requirements and this was carefully noted - we were even given specially printed menus to take our needs into account. Service was excellent and the food outstanding.

I have just returned from enjoying the nearest thing to heaven in the form of the Auberge D'Ill in the hope that the Mirabelle might emerge from hell. Fat lot of chance! A new chef does give one hope that things will improve but so...More

I would imagine that the wines they offer will change depending on availability and the wines you choose dependant on the food you eat. We found the sommelier very helpful and informative

The Mirabelle opened in 1989 being named after its famous Sister Restaurant in Curzon Street, London, which was at the time under the same ownership. Immediately after opening, the Restaurant gained an enviable reputation and is featured in many fine dining guides as a consistent entry year on year. A modern approach to flavours and textures has always been an important aim. The French Plum variety found in the Lorraine region, the Mirabelle, is famous for its full and pleasing flavours. We trust that your meal reflects these characteristics combined with service that complements the efforts of the Kitchen.
