We frequently visit this fabolous restaurant throughout the year for a romantic dinner. Why is it the best for us? Beside the always wonderful food you can get we love the atmosphere created by the interior, big windows and soft elektronica music being played there which is quite reminiscent of similar restaurants found in London, if you fancy those kind... if I would recommend a restaurant in Oslo to really have a good dining experience, this is the place. The tastes, the menu, and the service here is top! The prices are also not so bad considering how you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, if you order the Set Menu you're definitely in for a treat!!

Our company (100+ people) was there for a second Christmas party, but most probably the last time. The food started with 45 min delay, and the tapas while waiting was not great. After 5 courses half of the guys were still hungry. The main course, a asian reinterpretation of Ribbe, was a huge disappointement. A miniature piece of meat and... More

Went there with some colleagues after a small office party and we were not very hungry, but I enjoyed their Potchanee cocktail very much. Spicy and refreshing at the same time. Then an unexpectedly large sushi platter (crossover chef's choice) came and I couldn't resist but eat everything. :) Atmosphere is nice. The restaurant is always full, even though it... More

When we arrived the place was almost full, so haveing a reservation is a must. ( puh..we did ) The food and wine combination was very nice. The only thing that brings the score down a little is the waiting time between courses. Great tastes and the staff at our tables was very helpfull and nice.

I've always been past been never tried this place out. But we enjoyed it. The food was ok, the asian bloody mary had bite. Not too sure I'd go again though, but still a pleasant evening.

Südøst is a nice trendy restaurant, dark, cool and with good atmosphere. Sitting in the central part of the restaurant is good. We sat in a part in the corner where the walls are just dull dark brown. Our chairs were too low for the table and that is a bit annoying over a meal. I had a delicious dessert... More

We had a top meal at sudoest. There were ten of us, choosing a variety of dishes from a three course set menu. The food was good quality and the service was friendly. We visited on a Wednesday night, it was really busy, so it's worth booking. Well worth a visit.

Let there be no doubt; the star of this show is the delicious Asian-inspired food. In addition you get great service, a cozy atmosphere, and a good vine selection. It is doubtful you will get a table if you dont make a reservation. All in all this is great value for your money. If you are lucky to visit during... More

Good food, nice environment and excellent service. We ordered a 3-course menu, what a sensational food experience! I will definitely visit this restaurant again.
