Great staff, very attentive. Food superbly cooked. Good variety of different flavors and such a pretty way of presentation of it all.

We were 15 familymembers in a family celebration in the separate rom they have. The interior gives a clear statement of that "we know what we are doing", but in a subtile and polite way. They just know! Everyone else know it too, because they...More

Had a fantastic evening at Statholdergaarden. All 5 courses was great, the wine just as good. The service was as it should be in a restaurant like this.

I'm not so concerned about halal. The citchen is typically French, and I do not think they put too much emphasis on halal. Your question is best answered directly from the establishment.

One of the finest gourmet restaurants in Oslo, located in a 17th-century building in the old city centre. The ceiling has some of the finest stucco work in Northern Europe. The chef, Bent Stiansen, won the prestigious chef championship Bocuse d'Or in 1993. Order from the à la carte menu or try the six-course menu of the day. The menu is composed of the best ingredients available at the time Stiansen uses high-quality Norwegian ingredients, coloured by European tradition. Chambre separée for 8-24 persons. In the basement you find the more informal Statholderens Krostue, which is open for both lunch and dinner.
