Miznon is the wild brainchild of celebrated Israeli chef Eyal Shani in Vienna’s First District. The first Miznon opened in Tel Aviv in 2011, followed by Paris, Vienna, Melbourne, NYC and Singapore. Shani aims to capture every sense of Tel Aviv’s carefree street food scene in a loud, rustic, casual space, infusing each pita and dish with his trademark originality. Miznon’s menu changes daily to reflect the freshest produce in season but always uses a special pita crafted for Miznon by Israel’s world-famous Angel Bakeries.

We were definitely rather older than this lively student/young bar with "unusual" food, but we were welcomed and sat at a table with a lovely couple with whom we made good friends - an Albanian living in Vienna and new girlfriend from Israel, very romantic....The food was delicious, the beer selection extensive, the wine good. You have to get used to your name being bellowed from the open kitchen when your food is ready. Great vibeMore

Really enjoyed my lunch here. Though I'm trying to take advantage of all the amazing places to eat around town, I may have to return a second time. Happy there were several vegetarian options.

Stumbled across this little place on our first night. I'm dairy intolerant so this place was perfect! Delicious food and reasonably priced. didn't try their signature dish of the whole cauliflower but the two pitas we had were great. would highly recommend

We ordered two vegetarian pitas, the filling was good but too small the portion for the price (from 8 to 12 €, without meat that is the ingredient that costs more) and considering there is no service at the table. But the choice of food...is big, especiay vegetarian dishes. The cooker with too much beard and hair doesnt wear hygienic haircup...More

Rather small place with really good food and unique atmosphere. Its always full, but somehow you always find a place. Totally worth visiting when you are in 1st district, to charge your batteries after sightseeing or shopping.

I've heard about this place, so in my trip to Vienna I went to eat there.the but 11 euro for omelet in simple pita is too much expensive!!! the staff are nice but they're shouting the names and this is a little disturbing

healthy food. Very similar to Arabic food. Ideal for vegan or vegetarian diets. local shared table. you have to go early for lunch because the place is small and quickly fills up.

We search for interesting places to eat in Vienna. And most restaurants has traditional strudel's and schnitzel's. But here is truly alive place with flow of Israel and delicious Middle-eastern cuisine. They serve maybe best pita's in Austria (who came from Israel)

I stumbled on this hip cafe with great vegetarian food to later find it’s quite famous. Buzzy atmosphere and delicious fresh cooked vegetarian food with a twist. The staff were friendly with interesting life stories - one a Syrian refugee whose family is still in...Aleppo. Highly recommend this cafe for those seeking a cool place to unwind.More
