Stumbled across this restaurant and it most definitely fitted the bill for what we were looking for. Only problem was it was very popular ! It was buzzing with both the wine bar area and restaurant seemingly full. In the bar area they also served...More

An astonishingly interment, cozy old world dining room behind a boisterous front area. The tasting menu is outstanding, the pumpkin soup stands as one of the greatest courses we have had anywhere. Friendly expert service. The Kameel has it all, don't miss it. You are...More

We are regulars here for the last twenty years and have never been disappointed. We have seen the evolution of this Vienna institution with great satisfaction. Recently 74 extra seats have been added by uniting the former restaurant to its shop. Impressive result! The food...More

The Schwarze Camel is an Institution - drinks and food(from excellent small sandwiches as snacks to typical Viennese cuisine)are of high quality. The place is mostly visited by Viennese upper middle and upperclass people who enjoy drinking a(or more) good glas of wine and eating...More

We had open sandwiches with wine and beer. Nice place to have a snack during the shopping. But the cafe is historical place, so bit upmarket. Be polite to the restaurant staff. 買い物の合間にバースペースでオープンサンドウィッチとアルコールで休憩。ベートーベンも通った歴史的な場所のため、カフェとしてはやや格式が高く、お客さんも大人のヨーロピアンが多い。客として身が引き締まる場所である。

The worst restaurant you can find in Vienna, especially to notice the arrogance of the waiters avoid this place and you can be sure your vacation will take a much better meaning.

We came here after recommendation a Friday evening. The bar area was really lively (lot of noise and smoke), so we were pleased to be seated in the restaurant, which was much more calm. We started with a very delicious soup (papaya and butternot squash,...More

Very interesting place with good food, wine, service. Not especially pricey considering it's in the middle of the high end shopping district in the Inner Stadt.

Hi ! I checked the German menu for you on kameel.at and currently they do not. However I seem to also remember a calf's liver dish, not available now though. and yes portions are relatively big and it is worth a visit!
