Great way to start our stay in Vienna by enjoying a delicious dinner at ef16. Small and cozy interior so the tables are a bit close together. The service was excellent and very helpful with wine recommendations. My husband loved his meal: a starter of Beef Tartare topped with a sunny side up quail egg followed by Austrian classics of... Cute place that was packed when we got there. Service was excellent and the food portions were big. The Wienerschnitzel was amazing and so was the sea bass. They did mention the schnitzel was the best in town. Appetizers were OK. We got the desert for two which had some good desserts on there.

ef16 is not an obviously visible stop. Set off in an old alley off Feischmarkt, the approach is historic. Inside, the restaurant is set in what feels like an old gothic like cellar. Intimate and muted. Tables are a little close and ventilation a challenge under some temperature conditions. Cuisine and attention is first class. The servers were thoughtful. The... More

Do yourself a favor and go here! We had a wonderful dinner and our waiter was wonderful in suggesting Hungarian wines that we were not familiar with great success. Delicious wines and reasonably priced. Everything we tried was good. We had octopus and a Burrata cheese appetizer. Our entrees were two different types of risotto, beef fillet and some special... Our hotel recommended this and we were so glad to find it, tucked away from the street. Friendly, fun service staff and delicious food, wine and beer. Very pleasant atmosphere. Definitely a find.

Very nice food and good service, nice back garden. Not too expensive. Quiet street just off the main tourist area.

This is a small restaurant around 5mins walk from SchwedenPlatz Metro Station. Quite close to the city centre. Not difficult to find with Google GPS. We had a good dining experience on a Monday evening when the restaurant turned away as many walk-ins as the patrons, if not more. The manager said there were about 40 seats and so the... More

Amazing experience. Fantastic food. One of the best restaurants I've ever been too! A little hidden away but worth looking for this hidden gem. Booking would be advised. I had the beef fillet which was incredible and the ravioli for starter.

This was a fantastic little find in Vienna. At the end of a long weekend in Austria, my husband and I were looking for something that was less touristy and would end our holiday in style. This place fit the bill perfectly. The service was great and the food was really fabulous. You could tell that they really care about... More
