We enjoyed the Schnitzel so much we came back two nights later. It truly is one of the best I have had the pleasure of eating. The staff was very attentive, and extremely friendly.

Hands down, best “Wiener Schnitzel” in town! As a Viennese, born and raised, I know what I’m talking about. My mom, my grany, and myself know how to cook. But still, if we want to eat a formidable Schnitzel, we go to Oswald&Kalb. Well, that’s...More

We asked our hotel for a restaurant that provided medium priced local cuisine. This place really delivered. Simple dishes with high quality ingredients, perfectly prepared. The local mushrooms sautéed with spinach and the Vienna schnitzel were great. Very helpful friendly service. Loved it!

We went here after arriving in Vienna. It's a short walk (15 mins )from the Marriott and Ritz Carlton. We sat outside, it was a busy Saturday night. Food was good and the Schnitzel was huge! The Austrian wine was also good, don't go expecting...More

a casual stroll through Bäckerstrasse,
