Lovely white tablecloth restaurant with good service and yummy food. Best grilled octopus ever and a huge portion. Also excellent risotto. Very nice Italian wine list, of course, because the Antinori family has been making wine since 1385.

Good italian restaurant, authentic antipasti, fine primi, good (though not inspired) secondi, tasteful desserts, service could be a bit more personal, prices on the high end.

After a few days in Vienna having traditional Austrian food, we were in the mood for something different. We had passed many times in front of Cantinetta Antinori and it appealed to us as an Italian restaurant with authentic food. We were not wrong. The manager and waiters were all very helpful and attentive. They gave us good advice. The... More

High quality Good Italien / European food - you don´t get pizza there - specialties of true Italien food.

Had a very good authentic meal here in a nice atmosphere in the city centre. Only thing is I ordered a caffeine free coffee but I suspect the coffee did have caffeine because I couldn't sleep all night thereafter.

Even though i came in late after my friends and they where nearly done and it was late I got the best service - and a great tomato soup with excellent white wine of the house. Surely a place I will visit again - and with time to enjoy it.

Cantinetta Antinori is a fantastic place to enjoy authentic tuscan cuisine together with Antinori's famous wines. An experience long to remember.

This is a traditional restaurant- the sort that brings the woman the fish- the man the meat- I thought this was quaint when we visited a couple of nights ago- the food is delicious- but the service favours the regulars and tonight (Valentines) was sloppy. I don't like my water and wine splashed in my face or across the tablecloth-... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
