We were recommended this place from friends and tried it out on a Friday evening. We were the only ones in the restaurant which was very surprising, as it was an excellent experience. We both took lassis to drink - freshly made for us in mango and raspberry flavours respectively. After the classic poppadums with dips, we had vegetarian pakora... More

The food was overpriced for the quality we received. My colleagues and I ate at many places in Vienna because of a conference and the price to quality (e.g., amount of food, taste of food) at India Gate was not worth it. We all had better Indian food. I also saw the waiter take a desert bowl from our table... More

Absolute disaster. Anyone with little sense of Indian food, would never step in this place again. Based on the ratings on tripadvisor, my friends and me visited this place. I was astonished to see that they dont even know the basic of culinary science. Its a shame that these joints sell these craps in the name of Indian food. Shame!

Nice arrangements for buffet dinner for group of 35. Ate there twice, both of times food was delicious. Like the softness of the bread very much. Also prepared Jain meal separately. It was lovely food. Nice service as well.

Nothing special to mention also nothing as that was not OK. Their waiter gopal is quite talkative who befriends very easily. A special mention about positive thing was serving medu vada that was... This is a simple place . Food quality was not great but Ok. May be as it was a buffet and may be the price they got was the reason.

A warm night, and we ate outdoors. The tables had white tablecloths, but these were covered with transparent plastic. Easy to wipe off, but very "cheap" and not very inviting. But we sat down and had a very nice waiter who served tasteful dishes to affordable prices.

An Indian restaurant on the edge of old part of town, just off River Danube. Good place for lunch & dinner. Well connected as the Metro station is nearby. Food, not bad.

Rare to find Indian food in Vienna, but this was a good find. Right by the metro so easy enough to reach and with great service and staff, was fantastic. We had the chilli chicken, fried wings (bit too fried) and the daal. Would have visited again if we had more time!

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
