Maybe I am not Vienna savvy but our little lunch was expensive. Other lunches gave us more for less money. Anyway, the food was good the service was not bad. The location was quiet. No regrets.

Small Italian family type restaurant. We had a thin & crispy pizza each and a glass of wine. Waitress was capable & friendly but usually on her phone. Interesting that smoking is still allowed inside but I think that will end this year thank goodness....More

We walked by this restaurant on the way to another one (which was also excellent) one evening but the next day we decided to have dinner here. L'Asino Che Ride looks a little like a hole in the wall place that you could easily miss....More

The pizza was very good, nice thin crust, but the high-point of this restaurant is the tiramisu: huge (one portion is enough for two), home-made, delicious. Service was friendly, the surcharge for "coperto" did not seem appropriate to me (no bread or similar was offered,...More

This restaurant looked very cosy, and with a name like this ( the laughing donkey) you can hardly go wrong... Well, you can :-)! Even though the food was fine (great pizza's) , it was the service that did it. Or better the lack of...More

Visiting 'il asino' again the pleasure of their very good food remained the same, I guess among the best Italian restaurants in Vienna. Whether having starters from the rich antipasti buffet, pizzae, pasta, main dishes or desserts it is always enjoyable. Sitting outside means sitting...More

I ended up in this restaurant just by mistake. Then we went back because the food was delicious! The service was also very attentive without being annoying. I loved the tagliata di manzo served with rocket, parmesan and balsamic vinegar! It was perfectly cooked and...More

I always liked the location of this restaurant: they do a fabulous pizza, and have a modest wine list.

Intended to go to the Italian next door but mistakingly went in. Friendly service and food was delicious, fresh and hot. The decor was ok and food and drink reasonably priced. Not fancy but good food at a reasonable price with quick, friendly service.

Went in here by mistake thinking it was the Italian restaurant next door. It was very average - the food wasn't bad (pizza was better than the pasta.) The wine was good and the service friendly but overall not a memorable experience.
